This half-hour program, airing on Vegas PBS is designed to provide information to help Native American families insure their children graduate high school. In addition to featuring a locally produced video by a Native American graduate student detailing the struggles of different Native American generations to succeed in school, a panel consisting of diverse viewpoints within the Native American community will be featured. This program is part of a series produced by Vegas PBS designed to provide a coordinated community response to the serious issue of dropout prevention by examining the ramifications of the issues involved while also highlighting successful responses. The project also recognizes the many diverse audiences and interest groups associated with this issue and represents part of a long standing Vegas PBS commitment to serve underserved populations.
