If you haven't been by your local gym lately check it out. Attending a class at the local gym is also a way to meet people and have some fun.

A new study from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine found that combining people and pets in a fitness program was more successful than if the humans dieted and exercised alone. The study ran for a full year and the humans and their pets participated in ½ hour activities three times a week in addition to a low calorie diet. Both dogs and humans lost an average of eleven pounds each
