What Men need to know about Fitness
A man's life has many desirable aspects, one of which is fitness. Fitness increases energy as well as stamina levels, thereby letting you work out for longer hours without getting tired.
Studies show that it is possible for a man to be fit forever if they follow a progressive fitness program. Specifically, such a concept has three components namely cardiovascular exercises, strength exercises and a healthy fitness diet.

1. Cardiovascular exercises for men

A good cardiovascular workout is one that raises the heart rate above normal to a point where your body starts burning calories.
When planning out which exercises to engage in, cardiovascular workout, strength training, and flexibility exercises are highly recommended to be included in the list. Cardiovascular exercise gives you a stronger heart, reduce stress, boost energy and can pump extra blood to the brain which in enhances the functions of your Central Nervous system.
Some of the best cardiovascular exercises include running, bicycling, swimming and working out in the elliptical trainer.

2. Muscle build up for fitness

Building up muscle mass is one of the most efficient ways of burning calories and getting fit. Strength training, resistance training and consuming a well-balanced healthy diet are the main steps for muscle build up. Determine a schedule for your fitness exercises that focuses on full body workouts. Do strength training exercises with dumbbells like chest press, shoulder press, lunges, biceps curl and triceps extensions. Also, don't forget your legs; squats work your whole body so it is a must to add to your routine.

3. Nutrition for healthy fitness

A good well-balanced diet is required for your body to get fit and build muscles. You would need to consume varied foods i.e. proteins like Fish, Poultry, Eggs and cottage cheese as well as whole foods like carbs, fruits, veggies and some healthy fats (olive oil, avocados and fatty fish).
Aside from these three components, below are seven vital health points that need to be practiced when it comes to fitness:
  1. Consume water in large amounts since these circulate nutrients throughout the body.
  2. The workouts you are engaged in should be perfectly suitable for you and make sure that the techniques are performed correctly according to the expert's instructions.
  3. While lifting weights you might need a spotter's help so keep that in mind.
  4. Allow your muscles to contract safely as this ensures the limit of your endurance.
  5. Before starting your workouts, do some stretching or warm up. These relax your muscles and joints, which in turn helps prevent any temporary or permanent injuries.
  6. Before using the equipment, make sure to check them first to know whether the equipment is at its best working condition and is fit for use.
  7. Be patient and smart in identifying your body's changes. Do not over-train your muscles as that can cause muscle fatigue which in turn might get you to lose your enthusiasm, thus spoiling your performance.
