Nawaz seeks China support in civil nuclear technology


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Mian Nawaz Sharif met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Islamabad today and sought assistance in the department of civil nuclear technology to overcome energy crisis, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to sources, the two leaders discussed bilateral matters during which Nawaz Sharif sought Chinese help in civil nuclear technology to overcome energy crisis in Pakistan.

He further said that by overcoming energy crisis, there will be better chances to obliterate unemployment as well.

Nawaz Sharif stressed on the importance of increasing trade links and trade volume between the two countries. Moreover, he said that Pakistan wants to take benefit from Chinese experience to improve the infra structure.

The Chinese Prime Minister also congratulated Mian Nawaz Sharif on the success of his party in the general elections and hoped it will help to further strengthen democracy in the country.
