KARACHI: The Coordination Committee (Rabita Committee) of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has been dissolved a day after the party supremo Altaf Hussain said that cleansing process has begun within the MQM.

According to Geo News, the Coordination Committee of Karachi and London, the main decision making body of the MQM, have been dissolved and a twelve-member committee has been formed to oversee the party's affairs.

Members of the new coordination committee would be elected during a general worker meeting here on Saturday.
